Friday!
Today we went to ITT. IT was interesting how much security we had to go through while going in. Also none of us were allowed to bring our cell phones inside. First, we went to a presentation about some of the uses of imaging science and it was pretty interesting. It was cool looking at satelite pictures which were 400 miles away. Then we took a tour of the area where they create the lens and mirrors for satalite images. It was interesting but it became very confusing and I lost track of what the machines were meant to do pretty quickly. They all seemed like they were meant to make the mirror flatter and make it so it had perfect curves. After that we took a tour of a a department which measures the amount of gas leakage through satelite images. It wasn't too interesting but some RIT imaging students worked there, which was kinda cool. Then we went out for subs which were really good. The best part was that we didnt have to pay. Now, im going to the lake for the weekend.
