IDL confuses me

Today we met again at 8:45 and I was once again the last one to arrive even though it was 8:40. Mr. Easton wasn't in yet so I continued work on the document I had been working on yesterday. Once he arrived, he gave me more documents to work on and I began to work on the reversed side of the version I had been working on before. I then went out to lunch at crossroads with the interns and had a overpriced chicken sandwich. I did find out that there are Arnold Palmers there and that has made me pretty happy. I came back in time for the three hour IDL session. This was less confusing than yesterday but I guess im still not grasping how this program is used in imaging science. After that I returned to the lab and finished the document I had begun working on earlier and I also started my next document.
