Yesterday we took a tour of the nanoimaging lab in the morning. It was a very interesting lab but I found a noise that one of the machines emitted was very annoying. It was amazing to see that one of the chips cost around 500,000 dollars to make. That's amazing. After that, i got to work in my lab continuing the work on the many documents that I need to convert into pdfs. For lunch, went to the seminar and got free pizza, which is always nice. The presentation was so confusing and it really didn't make any sense. Right from the first slide of their powerpoint, I was lost. I don't think the group did a good enough job explaining what exactly they were doing. After that, I returned to my lab and continued work on the pdfs conversion. It is really long and tedious but other than that, its not too hard.
